Hey everybody! Today (Sunday August 21st, 2016), we are celebrating the birthday of the talented and beautiful Hayden Panettiere. The young momma is celebrating her 27th birthday and to make it special, Hayden Panettiere France is sharing with you 9 of her most important moments. Ready to jump in the time machine?

It’s in 1994 that our Hayden Panettiere gets her first TV spot in the ABC soap « One Life to Live » and it’s in the role of Sarah Roberts that we get to discover how talented the young girl is. For three years, Hayden will act in the soap before leaving the show in 1997. During those years, she appeared in the CBS soap, Guiding Light, in which she plays the role of Lizzie Spaulding, a little girl battling leukemia. For her performance, she gets awarded with the « Special Recognition » prize by the Leukemia & Lymphomia Society.

 
In 2002, Hayden Panettiere gets the part of Ally McBeal‘s daughter, in the eponymous series. Created by the more than talented David E Kelley, the series is always getting critical praise and is considered one of the best TV series of all time. Hayden got to play in 12 episodes of the series (the last ones by the way). Her character appears in the 11th episode of the fifth season, she lets Ally know that she is her biological daughter as there had been a mistake in the egg bank Ally donated years before. Her character, Maddie, decides to stay with Ally in Boston but in the series finale, they move to New-York.

 
In 2004, Hayden Panettiere gets her first starring role in the Disney Channel movie, « Tiger Cruise » alongside Bill Pullman and Bianca Collins. Events in the movie are intertwined with real-life events that occured in the United States on September 11, 2001. The movie is one of the three Disney movies to get a TV-PG rating and a « Viewer discretion » warning, due to intense and/or disturbing scenes and/or images. It also marks Hayden’s beginnings in the singing department, as she sings « My Hero Is You » but it’s also the first film in which her brother, Jansen Panettiere, appears with her.

 
2006: the year of worldwide fame for Hayden Panettiere as she gets one of the starring role in the TV series created by Tim Kring, « Heroes ». In the series, she plays a cheerleader who can spontaneously regenerate, Claire Bennett. A true phenomenon is on its way as the show becomes an instant success, becoming the first TV series by NBC in five years to be that watched every week. Her performance gets her many nominations in different awards shows (and she won a few of them). The show is cancelled after 4 seasons due to low ratings. In 2015, NBC revives the show for one season but Hayden is not a part of it.

 
I Love You, Hayden Panettiere or « I Love You, Beth Cooper ». It’s the title of the teen comedy, Hayden gets to star in in 2009, alongside Paul Rust and Lauren London. It is the first movie in which she tries to separate herself from her Heroes character, Claire. The movie is adapted from Larry Doyle’s novel, « I Love You, Beth Cooper ». Unfortunately, the movie isn’t a huge commercial success, gaining almost $16.000.000 at the end of its release.

 
 
On February 21st, 2011, Lifetime airs its original movie « Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy ». Telling the real-life story of the young Amanda Knox, Hayden Panettiere performs, with different layers, a very complex character. The movie is watched by 2.80 million people and gets postivie reviews from TV critics. The Daily Telegraph writes that the movie does « a credible job of navigating a complex case without coming down one way or the other on whether Knox and … Sollecito … are innocent or guilty. » The undeniable talent of Hayden is the strength and the highlight of the movie.

 
In 2011, Hayden keeps starring in movies and gets a part in the fourth installment of the famous slasher trilogy « Scream », horror films from the late 1990s starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette. For this film, she plays the role of Kirby Reed, friend of Jill Roberts (the niece of Sydney Prescott, heroin of the previous movies). Her role and performance get Hayden positive reviews, calling her a fresh addition. The movie is a critical and commercial success.

 
 
In 2012, Hayden Panettiere lands one of the starring role in ABC’s pilot, « Nashville », alongside Connie Briton and Charles Esten. Her performance for Juliete Barnes gets her critical praise and she gets nominated for two Golden Globes in the « Best Supporting Actress in a Drama series » category. Thanks to the show, Hayden can link her two passions: singing and acting. « Nashville » gets positive reviews from American critics and gets four full seasons on ABC, before getting cancelled and then renewed by CMT in 2016.

 
In May 2014, we learn that our beloved Hayden is pregnant with her fiancee Wladimir Klitschko and it’s 7 months later that she gives birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kaya. As she was filming season 3 of « Nashville », the writers decided to incorporate her pregnancy in the storylines. She actually leaves the show’s set for a few episodes to seek treatment for her postpartum depression. And Hayden shows no shame as she encourages people to talk about this « taboo » disease. We can only congratulate her for her brave actions and wish her the best.
